                 HIGH SCHOOL

     7TH GRADE and 8TH GRADE

MONDAY

The last day to print t-shirts and draw the pipe drawings.

7th grade and 8th grade: We will have a quick critique on the mixed media rooms we have been painting and collaging.

Then students will collect all of their fired clay parts and begin to paint the kinetic sculptures. The painting should have an emphasis on painting dark into the texture and light on top. This will expose the texture on the sculpture.

TUESDAY

Begin to make clay cups and mugs with intention of drawing on them with underglaze pencils. Students will make them with slab techniques. We will look at some of the contemporary ways artists are working on vessels.
