Exploratory Essay assignment continues.

Turn in the hardcopy, the freewrite, and the summary statement on 2/4/19, which is today.

 

Read the example essay—tone/POV noted. See p50 in Writing Arguments.

Draft of your Exploratory Essay—READY at the beginning of class for peer critiquing is due on Monday, 2/11.

If you are absent on 2/11, you miss the opportunity to earn points and participate in peer reviews. If you are late with your copies 2/11, you will miss out on points and the opportunity for peer assistance. Accommodations may be made, but are not guaranteed.

 

Chap 15 HdO’s and discussion of sources will still happen.

You have 2 reliable sources now; you need to add more. The minimum requirement is 2 sources—as in a C level grade for Support on the rubric.

 

Final of the Exploratory Essay is due on Tuesday, Feb 12.
