Read textbook information that surrounds assigned poetry—see page numbers on the handout of poetry. Check for information about the poet. Glean any other ideas.

 

Read your own two poems with your partner:

one poem from the text/handout and one poem that you found on-line.

Write an introduction to your poet written. (Bio in text and research online).

 

Present Thursday: 20 minutes of preparation/practice time Thursday.
